HOW TO PUT FS 211i And FS 213d in 1 FS folder

If you have Fishsim 2 already installed on your computer Start from Step 1
If you don’t have Fishsim 2 already installed on your computer Start from Step 2

Step 1
1 Click (my computer)
2 Left double click (local drive (C)
3 Left double click (program files)
4 Renamed the folder named (fishsim2) by right clicking the fishsim2 folder, highlight (rename),
the fishsim2 folders name is now highlighted put your curser at the end of the folders name and type a (X)
so you now have renamed the file (fishsim2x)
5 Close all open files

Step 2
1 Put your FS Disk in and load as normal
2 Import update 211i or under to FS then close FS down
3 Click (my computer)
4 Left double click (local drive (C)
5 Left double click (program files)
6 Renamed the folder named (fishsim2) by right clicking the (fishsim2) folder, then highlight (rename),
the fishsim2 folders name is now highlighted put your curser at the end of the folders name and type
211i 213d so you now have renamed the file to (fishsim2 211i 213d)
7 Left double click (fishsim2 211i 213d) file to open it and rename (fishsim2) the Fishsim icon
to (fishsim2 211i)
by right clicking the (fishsim2) the Fishsim icon then highlight (rename)
the Fishsim icon name is now highlighted put your curser at the end of the folders name and type (211i)
8 Close all open files

Step3
1 Put your FS Disk in and load as normal
2 Import update 213d to FS import then close FS down
3 Click (my computer)
4 Left double click (local drive (C)
5 Left double click (program files)
6 Left double click (fishsim2) file to open it and rename the (fishsim2) the Fishsim icon to
(fishsim2 213d)
by right clicking the (fishsim2) the Fishsim icon then highlight (rename) the Fishsim icon name is now
Highlighted put your curser at the end of the folders name and type (213d)
9 Send it to the desktop space bar by – box in the right hand corner

Step 4
1 Click (my computer)
2 Left double click (local drive (C)
3 Left double click (program files)
4 Left double click (fishsim2 211i 213d) to open fishsim2 211i 213d
5 Left click (fishsim2 213d) on the space bar to open it up
6 Copy the fishsim2 (213b) Fishsim icon
11 Right click in a clear space in the opened fishsim2 211i file and click past
12 You should now have 2 FS icons in the folder 1 named (fishsim2 211i) and 1 named (fishsim2 213d)
13 Right click (fishsim2 213d) icon highlight (send to) left click Desktop (create shortcut)
14 You will now have the 2 Fishsim shortcuts on you desktop
YOU CAN NOW FISH in 211i or 213d mode by clicking the short cut
fishsim2 211i for 211i or fishsim2 213d for 213d

You now have a choice what way you want to load you venues into this double mode FS

Choice 1 You can load venues on as normal with FS in 211i mode or 213d mode
If you load a venue say Aaron’s Lake in on 211i mode it can be fished in 213d mode without having
to load Aaron’s Lake in 213d mode as both modes use the same venue and graphic folders

BEFORE SOMEONE ASKS NO YOU CAN’T CATCH A RECORD FISH IN 211i MODE
AND SUBMIT IT IN 213b MODE

Choice 2 You will like this one it may take an hour or 2 depending on how many venues you have in your FS

1 Click (my computer)
2 Left double click (local drive (C)
3 Left double click (program files)
4 Left double click (fishsim2x) the file you renamed in step 1
5 Highlight all the items in the opened file EXCEPT the (fishsim2) the [Fishsim icon]
6 Right click on 1 of the highlighted files, the left click copy
8 Click (my computer)
9 Left double click (local drive (C)
10 Left double click (program files)
11 Left double click (fishsim2 211i 213d) file to open it
12 Right click on a clear space the opened file then click (past)
13 When it says {this folder already contains a folder named banners} Click yes to all

Then go watch a DVD or go down the Pub for a couple of hours or find something to do for 2 hours
NO NOT THAT RAY IT WILL KNAKER YOU OUT he he

Tiding Up
1 Delete the FS folder named (fishsim2)
1 Click (my computer)
2 Left double click (local drive (C)
3 Left double click (program files)
4 Right click (fishsim2) folder highlight (delete) then left click Yes
{You must delete this folder before going on to step5}
5 Renamed the folder named (fishsim2x) by right clicking the (fishsim2x) folder, then highlight (rename),
the fishsim2x folders name is now highlighted with your curser highlight the x at the end of the folders
name with the pointer on the highlighted x right click then highlight delete then left click then click
ok
