VFISH acknowledge copyright to all originators of graphics displayed on this site. VFISH have sought and obtained permission to display the graphics wherever possible. If you as owner of the copyright to any images displayed on this site and wish them to be removed please email dmin2@vfish.co.uk and they will be removed. (Updated December 2006)

VFISH record the source of graphics, documents or other material that are present on the VFISH server wherever possible and will pass any legal correspondence regarding the graphics, documents or other material to the person or body that has submitted the graphics, documents or other material to the VFISH system.

VFISH will not become involved in any disputes regarding any graphics, documents or other material that have been passed to the VFISH system.  VFISH decisions are final and binding in all Competition held on this site.

Any graphics, documents or other material that are requested to be removed from the VFISH system will be removed once an appropriate request has been made. This will require the authentication of the requester by means of a non-public email address or a request in writing.

VFISH have no intention whatsoever of breaching any individual or corporate copyrights and will supply any information requested to an official body.  Material will be immediately withdrawn upon proof of ownership.

VFISH do not own or claim ownership to any material published or made available via the VFISH servers.

VFISH withhold copyright on many VFISH created items on this site.  Please seek permission to use or publish any information produced by VFISH.

VFISH reserve the right to prosecute anyone misusing or misrepresentation any material produced by VFISH.

No commercial gain is made directly from any material published on the VFISH server, however, advantage may be taken from time to time of the fact that visitors may have specialised interests and certain advertisements may be shown to visitors to VFISH.

Submitting a venue to VFISH for validation assumes that you have read and understand the implications of the above and if you do not understand then you are obliged to seek clarification from a legal representative.

VFISH is an independently run club website. VFISH has no direct association to the creators of the FishSim2 software.

Some things about VFISH

1. VFISH have absolutely NO control over the FishSim2 Testers Panel.
2. VFISH DO host the testing system routines.
3. VFISH are only associated to the testers in that VFISH ONLY use venues that have been validated by the testers panel. This is to avoid it looking like VFISH encourage venues that may damage your FishSim2 installation.
4. The testers identities are anonymous and only known to VFISH where the details are publically posted on various BBS.
5. VFISH cannot influence acceptance or rejection of a venue.
6. VFISH is hosted on corporate servers belonging to Novatechnix Limited.
7. If there were any commercial activity regarding VFISH it would be publically available from the UK Companies House records. Company registration number UK GB 05137439.
8. Hosting of VFISH is supplied FOC by Novatechnix who pay for the high quality servers and the staff to support them.
9. Web site content is intended to be factual and not colloqial so there should be no 'gossip' or speculative remarks published by the VFISH administrative members.
10. VFISH operators remain anonymous because there are many Novatechnix employees that respond to BBS entries and make site changes. If names were to be published this would imply that the public could communicate with these people but in actual fact they would not neccessarily be appointed to VFISH work at any particular time and hence would not be able to reply in a timely manner.
11. VFISH is not associated to any other BBS or FishSim2 community.
12. VFISH is totally independant of the creator of FishSim2.
13. VFISH is simply a records keeping site for any user that wishes to use it.
14. FishSim2 has been set to send records to VFISH by default as there is currently no better equipped site to accept and maintain the records system.
15. There is no commercial or otherwise arrangment between the creator of FishSim2 and VFISH.
16. VFISH withold the independant right to cease operation but have no intention of ceasing operation in the foreseeable future.
17. Comments directed at 'VFISH' are sent to all VFISH support staff and only acted upon if they affect the operation of the VFISH website and supporting system.
18. There is no personal entity VFISH. There is no single personal contact at VFISH, the group of contacts can be addressed as VFISH. All queries and comments are reviewed by persons allocated to the VFISH site at the time of a query or comment coming to VFISH attention.
19. Any competitions, quizzes, challenges and other games run on the VFISH site are monitored by a varied team and comments made by operators attending the above are personal views and may or may not be the views of the VFISH team.

21. Novatechnix may allocate one or more servers from their pool of servers so IP addresses for matches and competitions may change without notice.
22. Novatechnix servers used by VFISH will be based in the UK where possible. If there is sufficient demand additional servers can be made available in other geographc regions.
